Basics

Obby creator is a mini platform for making anything you want. You can build obbies, showcases, and much more! There is an "edit" button in the bottom left corner. If you click that (or tap) if you are on your plot (which you claim first by stepping in a red gate) it will activate edit mode. In settings, you can determine how much you want your block width and move you want. (It goes by Roblox Studs.) With a 300 Robux gamepass called Advanced Tools, you can get to advanced stuff. We will get to that later.

Placing Parts

Placing parts is a important part in building stuff. There are many different types of parts. First is the basic part. (as shown in the right.) You can edit all dimensions (except the mass) of the part. The thinness of the part depends on your move settings. (For more advanced builds set it to 0.05.) Next is the cylinder. You can make it longer in length, but you cant make it thin no matter what. You can make it larger in width though. Then there is the wedge. You can make it as large and big as you want, but you cant edit the mass. (if you have enough money*) There is also a truss, which can only be edited up.

Editing Part Appearance

Next to this text is a mix up of edited parts with color. You can edit pretty much any part's color in the game. Clicking "properties" in the right side will open a HUD. There is several options, including color. In the image to the right, the creator has used a mixture of colored parts and cylinders. You can edit the color, material, effect, and reflectance. Reflectance only works on the material smooth plastic.

Effects

Effects are one of the sections that can change a part. In the image to the right, that is a fire effect. It can be used in any parts. Depending which way the part is facing, the effect will face that way too. All of the effects are fire, sparkles, text, outline, texture, and smoke. You can edit the color of the effects. You can also edit the size.

Note: the sparkles size cannot be changed.

Advanced

Advanced Tools

Advanced tools is a gamepass achieved by buying it for 300 robux. It gives you world options for your obby. The options include obby floor color, custom music, fog, depth of view, and much more. There is also a new Music Part, which when stepped on creates music if the id is put in. Another extra part is the Advanced part. when stepped on, changes the setting which it is set to. You should experiment with it.

Advanced parts

Advanced parts are parts that have behavior. In one of the options, you can edit their behavior. All the advanced parts are music part, advanced part, reset part, lava, timed lava, timed part, fade part, fall part, teleport part, respawn part, button, speed part, and jump pad. (If there are more please let us know.) The music part is, well you already know. Reset parts send a player to the spawn of the obby. Respawn parts send players to the saved checkpoint. (Checkpoint is in essentials, which we will cover.) Speed parts when stepped on, change the players speed. Jump pads bounce a player to the selected height. The fade part fades in the amount of time selected (You also have to select the respawn time.) The fall part falls up or down when stepped on. (The fall way can be chosen as well as the speed and respawn time of the part.) The lava can deal the selected damage to a player when stepped on. The timed lava disappears in the time selected. (IE, 5 time will appear for 5 seconds, and dissapear for 5 seconds.) The timed part is the same, except it doesn't deal damage. The teleport pad can TP someone to the selected location. The button is a very special part that can change even the appearance of a part! It can do this to the selected part when stepped on, make the part invisible, make it visible, and it can reset moving parts. (Some parts including lava and TP parts will still have their effect, just not visible.)

Moving Parts

Moving parts are parts that move to the selected place. In this video to the right, it will show building a obby with the parts. Watch if you want to see the basics of a moving part. If you want to keep reading, fine. You can select the destination of a moving part. You can edit how fast it goes, the direction, and the style. (The lower the number, the faster.) There are also moving fading parts, moving lava, spin parts, push block, and push ball. The push blocks will move if ran against. (Depending on block size.) The spin parts will spin fast if chosen speed. You can also make them orbit something.

Extras

You can also add character models and mannequins. People can buy your clothing with robux of the mannequins!

There is a "copy" button in the top left of the part HUD. You can mimic another blocks material and color, but not behavior.

That's it for now! Add anything if you want.
